One of our goal is to create pilot projects in social innovation and conduct research in the area of social enterprise. Boxgirls is such a case study where we do research on how it develops organisationally and strategically as a initiative aiming at generating social profit. One of our main research focus is the question on how to measure social change.
We make our knowledge available to a larger community of people working in the non-profit and volunteer sector.
Are you a social entrepreneur who wants to take part in the critical debate around the issues of social change and social profit making? Then consider joining our network and working together to create and share resources for social entrepreneurs all over the world.
We welcome people who are able to make an at least 3 month commitment to helping us develop and deliver our programmes such as Boxgirls, the Media Lab or the Summer School. Our close relationship with the Free University Berlin allows academic credit to be received for certain projects.
We are looking for professionals and companies who can donate services. Legal, accounting, marketing, public relations and fundraising expertise are all needed. Let us explain how rewarding sponsoring Social Startup can be.
For any of these opportunities please be in contact with Social StartUp Prof. Dr. Heather Cameron.
